Then we picked up a pizza and drove up to the Canyon for a picnic. We had told Amalie about Bridal Veil Falls and how would she like it if we had a picnic by a waterfall? She loved the idea, but unfortunately so many other people had the same idea on Labor Day, there was no parking! So, we headed over to a nearby park, which was pretty gorgeous as well. From the time it took to drive to the other park (about two and a half minutes) Amalie was fast asleep with her mini pizza on her lap. We decided to let her and Gabe sleep awhile and picnicked right in front of our new-to-us minivan.
We finally woke her and she ate and then we explored the park. It was a stunningly beautiful day, with a glorious cool breeze. So perfect.
It was so fun to just explore and enjoy with the kids! We finished off with ice cream and then went home. I'm so glad we could make a memory!

I love the idea about Making a Memory. That's what it's all about.... spending time together and 'feeling the love'.
I wanna live in Utah. You guys are always at some beautiful park.
